Social Economy Investment Community Consultancy (SEICC)

Our Social Economy Investment Community Consultants (SEICC) are able to reach those social sector organisations who do not engage with social investment finance and funding that has been created for them, about them but without consulting them. SEICC's are culturally sensitive and create effortless engagement and trust.

Some of current and past projects

For Business Sake, secure contracts within the Enterprise & Entrepreneurship and Education Sector

The Ubele Initiative CIC 

an African diaspora led, infrastructure plus organisation, empowering Black and Minoritised communities in the UK, to act as catalysts for social and economic change. 

Impact Included:

  • £2.3m in Enterprise Development  Grants

  • Supported 49 Black and Racialised social enterprises and trading charities across the UK in developing an enterprise idea

  • Recruited 15 Black and Racialised Advisors, Consultants and Trainers

The Social Enterprise Support Fund provided grants to help social enterprises rebuild from COVID-19. It is established in partnership with Key Fund, Unltd, Resonance and bis Issues Invest Big and the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) 

Impact Included:

  • Assisted in supporting 500 enterprises with £16.1m in grant funding

  • 57% of grants were invested in Black, Racialised and Diverse Social Enterprises and Charities

The Lambeth Careers Cluster is led by the local authority in partnership with London Southbank University and Lambeth College. Membership consists of 17 secondary schools within the borough, including 3 Special Educational Needs schools and 1 Pupil Referral Unit.

Impact Included:

  • Supported over 700 Students

  • Support over40 employers in engagment with 17 secondary schools

The Southwark Local Access Partnership was awarded £5.6m for the sole purpose to develop a social economy placed based initiatative for Black, Racialised and Women led Charities and Social Enterprises

Impact Included:

  • £6.1m in Enterprise Development  Grants and Social Investment blended finance for Black and Racialised social enterprises and trading charities.

Health Education England  (HEE) exists to support the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England by ensuring that the workforce of today and tomorrow has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours, at the right time and in the right place.

Impact Included:

The final Equalities Impact assessment included of the following recommendations:

  • Further work to be undertaken to engage with the Paramedic profession more fully considering the types of diverse learners and recruits entering the profession.

The African Foundation for Development (AFFORD) is an international organisation established in 1994, with a mission “to expand and enhance the contributions Africans in the diaspora make to African development.

Impact Included:

  • Supported over 20 African Diaspora Led Social Enterprises 

  • £600k Investment in Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe and Rawanda to create social enterprises and  sustainable jobs
